What’s going on? Are parrots really about to take over the world?
This blog’s creator, Mel Amar (short for Melinda Amaral) is simply a parrot lover who needed a diversion one day and wrote some prompts to get some silly pictures of parrots. Those prompts inspired storytelling, and a rich world of future parrotkind came to be.
Parrot images are created using Microsoft’s Image Creator powered by DALL-E. Any images which are noted as created by Mel Am and all captions and stories are copyright Melinda Amaral.

I have always had a special place in my heart for parrots. I’ve also dabbled in amateur web design, photography, and art.
