It does not require time travel to know that humankind’s downfall is approaching and parrotkind is poised to rule the Earth. It has been confirmed that once greedy, pesky humans are out of the way, parrots, the clearly superior species, will swiftly rise to rule the Earth.
What we do need time travel for is to learn what parrot societies will look like. How will parrot societies orgainize themselves? What will their most cherished customs be? How will parrots educate their chicks and ensure an egalitarian society which works in harmony with the planet instead of destroying it?
I am able to make short trips to 200,000 years in the future to find out, and I am documenting my findings here on this blog.
